But to show that I’m not completely unimpressed, here’s a YouTube clip of a SimCity timelapse, showcasing how pretty the graphics engine can be:





Just curious: do you know how much of that is “generated” environment, and how much of it is real people moving themselves and cars around? It would be amazing if, for example, all the lights in the buildings going on and off were players entering and leaving rooms.
It’s all generated content, none of that is players directly accessing the world. It’s supposedly simulated but it’s terrible simulation at best. Simcity is a city simulator in the sense that you build a city, not that you walk around it.
