peepimpact The image to the left (for the full version, click here) reminded me of a long-gone tradition at the equally long-gone dining establishment, The Corner Restaurant, here in Kansas City. Every spring, they’d have “the Massacre of the Peeps,” an event where dioramas of distressed marshmallow chicks, bunnies, and whatever else they make would be drawn and quartered, hung, or have their heads displayed on pikes (toothpicks).
