randomstuff • Touching again on the woes of SimCity 5, one Slashdot user (slight language warning) finds the Sim-behavior of the Sims in the game don’t line up with actual human behavior. I wouldn’t have minded the “grab the first house/job” thing for the most part when I first moved out of my parents’ home, but now I’d have a hard time transporting my stuff. If the flaws are keeping you from ever wanting the game, the hack and mod crowd is working on fixing a lot of the annoyances.

• Something for fans of the original Fallout to keep an eye on: Mutants Rising is a mod that’s been in the works since 2004, but it looks pretty neat thus far. I ran across it after finding these art assets that made me want to take a turn-based trip through the Southwestern Wasteland again.

• How quickly will this stuff get banned in most government and corporate offices? This spray can’s contents let you make envelopes temporarily transparent. Now if they could just make an inconspicuous can…

And it’s spelled Y-E-A-H. None of this “yea” stuff, which doesn’t even make sense when you think about it.
