Back when the world was grayscale…

No longer do you have to merely imagine what it would be like to ride down Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills in the 1930′s. You can see what it was like:
I apologize if any classic car fans had brain cramps trying to tally up what all of those autos would be worth today in mint condition.

As someone who’s driven that street a few times in recent years, I’m amused by the fact that nobody seems to feel the need to stay in a lane. Drive beside the line, astride the line, over the line, weaving randomly–who cares?
It’s still like that.
Yeah.. I did notice a few folks giving hand signals when slowing. It looks like there’s three lanes, with the middle one being the ‘whatever’ lane.. left, right, making a turn, whatever. The lack of other lane markings (or observences therof), the fact that one guy had to swerve out of the way of someone making a left turn… fun times!
Lanes? What are these ‘lanes’ of which you speak?
I particularly liked the 9ยข/gal gas!
