I was looking into some computer-related thingamabobs, and upon trying to purchase them, I saw this rather alarming option for shipping:
I’m assuming that by picking that final one, you not only get your package, but ownership of FedEx as well. I thought that was too big a responsibility, so I went elsewhere to ring up my devices.
The real irony is that the site I ‘capped this from was listed as offering free shipping.
That kind of error is a dime a dozen on the DailyWTF site – seems there are a *lot* of companies with dodgy data on their sites. My guess for this one would be test data that someone’s forgotten to remove.
Try shopping Amazon.com. You can find anything there and usually you can find free shipping.
