Whoever they got to write this reply to building a fully operational battle station sure knew their Star Wars memes. I especially like the bullet point that reads “Why would we spend countless taxpayer dollars on a Death Star with a fundamental flaw that can be exploited by a one-man starship?”
The only thing not put in was some reference to Admiral Ackbar’s most famous line, which might have been an acknowledgement of its over-use. Well played.
Oh, and it’s nice to know they’re not in favor of blowing up planets, even though I’d mostly just be concerned about one, at least for now. 
I’m amused that there’s an *actual* NASA office with the abbreviation ‘C3PO’.
They should have linked a diagram of the Soyuz spacecraft, pointed out that the residents of the ISS came in that thing, so they’re braver than you thought…
