• If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s what a 10-year-long Civilization II game looks like (as in played off-and-on for 10 years), and it’s not a place you’d want to live. On a related note, Civilization V will have a spot in the Steam Workshop, which is pretty much the end of civilization (see what I did there?), if not free time, for a lot of gamers.

• Here’s a trailer that’s probably best for grown-ups to watch (and I believe it’s SFW). It’s got Max Von Sidow in it, so I’m obligated to post it or Ming the Merciless will start pushing those weather-control buttons and targeting my house. Anyway, it’s for a movie called Branded, and it looks to be a mixture of They Live and one of Philip K. Dick’s novellas about seeing what reality really is.

• And lastly, it might be too late, and you’d have to get them from Australia (you might have to fight Mel Gibson to claim them, too) but the cars from the canceled Terra Nova show are being blown out at bargain prices. Still, you’d have to find a way to remove the shame yourself.
